Valentina Ishchenko

As someone who has the privilege to be in a position to help others and live comfortably myself, it is important that I also take action in my community. Making change isn't easy, but the key is to start small. I am starting in Colorado Springs by doing all I can to improve this community. I want those in my community to know that they make a difference and that they are heard.

I hope that people remember me as someone who helped others and excepted everyone. I want people to know that I valued everyone's unique qualities and loved everyone no matter race, background, or financial status.
