Harris has served the Olympic movement for two decades in key management roles. He has worked at five Olympic Games, the brand team of Olympic City USA as well as for Olympic top sponsor like Panasonic.
Harris always had an interest connecting the dots of his past experiences through the development of one of a kind Olympic education program that link people with the origin of the Olympic Movement. Understanding intentions, meeting expectations, activating spaces and fostering conversations are his core values that he infuses into YCA’s culture.
Donna Nelson is a strong advocate for the City and works tirelessly to include women and minorities in everything she does. Donna serves as the City Liaison for the city’s sister city program, and is a leadership team member of YCA.
Donna began her career as a Medical NCO in the United States Army, serving for nine years in the military. She was stationed overseas three times. Donna has received numerous military and community awards. Donna has lived in Colorado Springs for 25 years, has one daughter, Jasmine, and 2 extremely smart grandchildren, Soulyman and Fatima, who live in Rockford, IL.
A 20-year Air Force veteran specializing in Political Military Affairs, International Partnership Building and Human Resources, he is dedicated to developing young leaders of character with global perspectives.
Tad lived in Europe for 6 years with his family of three children, and traveled extensively throughout Europe and Africa. He is passionate about creating amazing life experiences for others, educating his community through his areas of expertise, and instilling in our future servant leaders the values and tenants of the Olympic Movement.

A lifelong educator, Joy is committed to creating opportunities for growth and building community. She has been involved with the Young Champion Ambassador program since the second year of its inception and is pleased to join the team at this exciting time of growth in Olympic City USA and expansion of YCA.
In her free time, Joy can be found in the beautiful Colorado outdoors hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and biking. She enjoys traveling with her husband of 23 years and considers her greatest accomplishment the raising of their three children together.
Abby is a Class of 2017 YCA Alumni, she traveled to Greece with YCA for the 2018 Olympic torch relay for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Since graduating from the program in 2017, Abby has worked for the program in various capacities ever since.
Abby loves bringing people together to foster authentic relationships, she values good conversation and strives to help others thrive. Outside of the office, Abby enjoys all of the natural beauty that Colorado has to offer. She enjoys hiking, skiing, and rafting.
Christine is dedicated to creating educational opportunities. For the past three decades, she has shared her educational practices with students spanning from early childhood to adult learners throughout the US and Latin America. She holds Bachelor and Masters degrees in Spanish, Intercultural Communications, and Education.
Alongside her husband of nearly 30 years, Christine enjoys her 3 children, travelling, great literature, and making the most of living in beautiful Colorado.
